Launch of ALC Radio by John Sibi-Okumu
About the audio:
On the 24th June 2015, The Africa Leadership Centre (ALC) officially launched the ALC Pan African Radio. To help launch the radio, the ALC invited John Sibi-Okomu, a well- known Kenyan radio and television presenter. John Sibi-Okumo has interviewed many Kenyan as well African newsmakers notably; Daniel Arap Moi, Robert Mugabe, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Paul Kagame, Kofi Annan among others. John also has also acted in a number of local and international films including the ‘The Constant Gardner’, ‘Shake Hands with the Devil’ & ‘First Grades’. He’s is also an author of several plays and a regular columnist for the AWAAZ- Voices of the South Asian Diaspora.

New ALC Radio Station Launched
A new web-based radio station that aims to help shape the agenda on issues connected with leadership, peace and security in Africa was launched in June 2015 at the African Leadership Centre.
ALC Radio—alcafricanradio.com—will be an independent medium of analysis of African issues that is publicly available to all via the internet.
The station has been developed by ALC and will provide a forum to influence debate and policy development on the continent. The programme content will uniquely be informed by research and will draw on expert opinion from around the world.
